Pros and cons of GPSies+ app for iPhone and iPad

GPSies+ app good for

The greatest functionality for people who likes local traveling. This app opens new ways for all. Many thanks!
Would it be much nicer to see it natively supporting IPad screen size !

Some bad moments

As I do run and travel often this App is the solution for the question: what route do I run today!
Klaus, please a) insert a link for support into your App so that you can receive suggestions for improvements directly rather than forcing us to use this public forum b) improve your screen refresh rate, the maps load albeit slowly but when I zoom into a given location to see paths or trail crossings, the map data does not populate the screen and I am left guessing which path I need to take. THe best way to reproduce this would be to go to a town in Switzerland and then pinch to zoom until your App refuses to load the final map blocks and you will notice that instead of loading the additional blocks that were missing, your App will SUBTRACT more blocks until that zoom level is no longer usable at all because it will contain no data. This indicates a problem with your algorithm and I hope that you can get it fixed soon because Id like to think that you planned to build a quality product.
The Good: 1.) I can share my route with the public & they dont have to have an account. With other services, having to create an account just to see anothers routes stinks! 2.) The map detail is great. For instance I found a parking lot near a trail that didnt show up with other services. The Not So Good (Please Fix) 1.) If a route being recorded is not long enough to be uploaded, allow the user to resume the route to make it longer (long enough.) My too short route was discarded which was bad. 2.) When recording a route the summary statistics that appear in the gray box should honor the chosen units in the settings. I chose miles (per hour) but the summary statistics still showed kilometers (per hour). 3.) Provide the option under iOS to set location services privacy settings to "while using" the app. Currently the options are only "always" or "never". 4.) The speed, pace and length statistics seem to be off somewhat. Compare them to the Strava, Fitbit & Alltrails apps which I have found to be better. 5.) Provide "moving time" and "moving speed" statistics along with overall time & overall speed like the other apps do.
